Adrian Dickson made his name on screen as host of shows like CBBC and Top of the Pops, but he also produced much of the material he hosted. A trained NCTBJ journalist, Adrian has covered stories in the UK, US and South Africa for the BBC, ITV's This Morning and E! Entertainment Television.
As well as working in front of camera, Adrian is a fully industry-trained producer, director and picture editor. He is currently working on a number of network television programmes as a director or technical director, including ITV News, Children's BBC and Met Office weather broadcasts.
Adrian launched his production company, Starstruck Media, in 2005, which so far has proved to be a successful move with both radio and television productions and a healthy business creating presenter showeels. Additionally the company has launched a new entertainment news service, both online and on television and radio, with many happy clients.
Behind the microphone, Adrian has carved out a successful career as a radio presenter and voice-over artist, with credits ranging from BBC Radio 3's popular Making Tracks programme, to corporate voiceovers for the Renault F1 Team.
Currently, Adrian is hosting and Executive Producing Film Xtra for the UK's Film24 Channel, produced by Starstruck Media, also produces. In addition, Adrian and his team of reporters cover various entertainment and showbiz events and distribute this footage around the world. He is also the face of popular website Gigwise.com and the voice of the latest Muse TV ad campaign.
